2010 Club Championship
We have three club championships; men’s, ladies’, and an overall age-graded championship, so everyone has a good chance!
The age-grading is calculated from the world record for the same distance and is normalised for age and gender. For more details on how age-grading works, please see frequently asked questions on the Running for Fitness site, or feel free to ask one of the committee members. There is also a good online calculator if you’re curious as to how you would score.
Rules
- Club kit must be worn at Championship events to score points.
- Subscriptions must be paid during the year to be a trophy winner.
- For the men’s and ladies’ competitions, 100 points are awarded for the first club member home, 98 for second, 96 for third, and so on…
- For the age-graded competition, 100 points are awarded for the club member with the highest age-grading, 98 for the second-highest, 96 for third-highest, and so on.
- The best 7 placings from 12 events score for the men’s, ladies’ and age-graded competitions.
- In the event of tied results, the highest scores will be taken into account.
