Paul Mason reports…

Paul and Barbara had a day trip to Pas de Calais last Sunday for the triathlon at Ardres. 1200m, 30km and 5km. Excellent event but windy with a couple of showers. Eat as much as you like cake and chocolate at the finish. Paul was 27th overall and 8th vet in 1:38:39 and B was 92nd and 3rd female vet in 2:17:46.

Nneka Okonta continued her comeback with a 1:02:00 clocking at the Swansea Bay 10k.

Andrew Ogierman and Helen Blake made the trip to the New Forest for this popular half marathon. Andrew finished in 1:59:32, his fastest for some time, whilst Helen completed her first half marathon in 3:04:47.

First cut of the results attached. Please let us know if you ran a PB or if you’re missing from the results or it wasn’t you. Also does anybody know who ran with number 4791 as Paul Giles isn’t someone we know.

Update: A new MV70 record for Rachhpal Bath, taking 30 seconds off the time he set at the same event last year.

Windsor Half Marathon 2010

Windsor Half Marathon 2010

Hardeep Bath was out with his camera at the Burnham Beeches Half Marathon and you can see the results here.

This race was a small but really enjoyable local Duathlon with a good turnout from the Dashers, many doing their first Duathlon.  The uneven run distances made the pacing more interesting and a strong wind made for a grueling last 10K of the bike ride.  Paul Mason came in with a great time to win the race and another highlight was Claudia’s sprint finish fighting the beat someone at the finish.  Congratulations to all!
