Welcome to the website of the Datchet Dashers

We are a running club based in Windsor (home of the Castle), close to London. We are primarily a road-running club, but venture onto the country in the winter. Members race over most distances, from 5km all the way up to ultra-distance races such as the Comrades Marathon and beyond.

We meet at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Windsor Cricket Club in Home Park, Windsor. On Tuesdays we normally do some speedwork or threshold running, while on Thursdays we run between 5 and 8 miles, depending on the season. Details of what’s planned can be found on our training schedule page.

Adult runners of all ages, abilities and ambitions are welcome to join us. We would recommend that new runners should attend a Tuesday session initially unless you are an experienced club runner, so that we can assess your ability and match you up with runners of a similar standard for the Thursday runs. New runners are welcome to run with us for a few weeks before joining.

Everyone is welcome. If you are interested, come down one evening and give us a try! We recommend you contact either the men's captains Chris Hunt and Rob Foster or ladies' captain Emily Gow ahead of your visit so we can make sure someone's there to welcome you.
